JEANNETTE ALTHERR &
LAURA SANTARELLI

BANNER, CARDS AND FOLDER, 2021

“Think out of the box. We don’t need more objects but a different narrative.”

The box from Barcelona contained a mix-set: expressed in a product-related manner, a silk banner with a colored screen-printed motif measuring 60 x 85 cm, a folding poster and 16 square text cards appeared.
In fact, we received a treasure chest of inspiration, thoughts and questions on what could – or should – be driving designers today. For example, what a fine, softly flowing cloth has to do with a crisp green pea pod, with our earth, our habits and ideas of beauty.

INVITED BY STEFFEN KAZ & CATHARINA LORENZ

Dear Jeannette, longing way back into the past, we always had wonderful inspiring discussions. Inspiration and senseful exchange are more needed then ever and the project ‘Living in a Box’ seems a great platform to continue our discourse. We are really happy to have you on board.
Yours Catharina & Steffen
