Something between a coloured Objet trouvé and Mail Art: This box came to us flat in an envelope. In this way, a simple cardboard fold cut becomes a luminous print graphic that also effects in three dimensions.
Sophie Smallhorn (London/Great Britain) is an artist, art and colour consultant. Looking at her work, one is transported into a sphere full of building blocks, Rubik’s cubes, elementary play and infinite colour scales. Concrete art? Design course? Space, building, object, picture, sculpture? Sawed, built, assembled, layered, painted, printed? Doesn’t matter. Very stimulating.
